The AMANI Short Film

In 2019 we produced our first social impact short film called ‘AMANI‘ about the true inner reflections of our founder Amani who was stabbed 7 times after intervening in a robbery. The film stars actor Joivan Wade (Shiro’s Story, The First Purge and DC’s Doom Patrol) along with an amazing support cast incl. Leroy Logan MBE and Chris Preddie OBE
Since release it has been viewed nearly 4 Million times on Youtube and continues to be used as a tool to challenge mindsets and raise awareness but most importantly to inspire change.

OUR IMPACT

Amani’s profile has raised significantly and he continues to be a must sought after Keynote Speaker, Youth Coach, Storyteller and Consultant. He is committed to creating a lasting legacy for the next generation and in celebration of Black History Month (Oct 2020), Amani was recognised as a BHM Next Gen Trailblazer by The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
In June 2021, Amani was also awarded the Governor-General’s Diaspora Achievement Award for Excellence from his mother country Jamaica for his work supporting young people with their mental health before and during the Covid-19 pandemic with the #OurLockdown Campaign

We are currently visiting primary and secondary schools alongside partnerships with local authorities and corporates to offer Whole Year Group Assemblies, 6 Week Workshops and Adult Awareness Sessions. In just over 18 months we have directly worked with and spoken to over 25,000 young people!
